Hello!

My name is Eric, and I created Basic ASIC as a resource for both newcomers and experienced miners to access the most up to date information on miner profitability while building a community where we can share questions and ideas.

I started mining in 2021 when I picked up a few Bitmain S9s and set them up in my crawlspace. It's been quite the learning experience! From waking up at odd hours to communicate with distributors in China, to soundproofing miners to keep my wife happy, and even having a hashboard melt and nearly start a fire—it's been anything but ordinary.

My Current Setup:

22x Bitmain KA3

3x Bitmain D9

4x Iceriver RX0

I also have several Goldshell (HS3, HS5, HS6, KD Box Pro) and Ibelink (BM-S1) units currently turned off but ready to deploy once altcoin season kicks in.

Most of my miners are hosted, but I have 70 amps dedicated to Bitcoin mining at home. During winter, I typically run a few units at home and duct the exhaust directly into my central heating system. My future goals include liquid cooling some ASICs with a heat exchanger to warm my pool, and continuing to expand and diversify my mining operation.

I look forward to connecting with the community and helping out wherever I can!

P.S. — Please provide feedback on the website! I'll do my best to implement updates and improvements. This is my first time creating a website, and I want to make it as user-friendly as possible.
